Coat
Coat has accidentally been left behind after her owner runs off without her. All alone, she worries about finding the way home — and whether her owner might be getting cold.
Shoe
Left Shoe has become separated from the person — and the Right Shoe — he belongs with. After a football game ends in a hurry, Left Shoe is accidentally left behind and has no idea how to get home.

About Robert Trusty
Robert Trusty is the author of Molly the Trolley and Brown the Bloodhound, a warm‑hearted adventure celebrating friendship, kindness, and the comfort of finding your way home.
A natural storyteller since childhood, Robert’s teachers often praised his writing as exceptional. As a father, he spent years creating original bedtime stories for his children, tales they loved so much that after reading their bedtime storybooks, they always demanded one of his own stories.
Now a grandfather, Robert wanted his grandchildren to enjoy those stories even on the evenings he couldn’t be there to tell them himself.
Molly the Trolley and Brown the Bloodhound is the joyful result: a cherished family tradition of storytelling brought to life for a new generation.
